Airline’s Requirements for Medical/Death
- In the case of illness of passenger(s) or family member - hospital admission/discharge documents must be provided & acceptance is purely at the discretion of the airline.
- In case of death of passenger (s) or family member – death certificate must be provided & acceptance is purely at the discretion of the airline.
- In any case above, if passenger(s) names does not match then a government issued proof of relationship is required.

Reservations Names and Ticket Request:
Once the ticket has been issued the name on the ticket cannot be changed.
All reservations must be made in the EXACT name of the person(s) traveling - no
nicknames. For international travel the name on the reservation must be EXACTLY
as it appears on the traveler's passport. Once reservations have been made and you
have provided payment information, your reservation CANNOT be changed.
However, Airfare.com does recognize that mistakes can be made. We will do what we
can to see if we can correct such mistakes if and when they occur. These changes
must be minor changes such as; miss-spellings, maiden name and married name for
passports, etc. Not complete traveler changes. We will get in contact with the airlines
to see if they will allow such changes under the circumstance, but it is up to the
airline to allow a name change. Please keep in mind that changing the name on a
reservation is considered and treated as a regular change and normal change fees
Payments and Verification:
Airfare.com accepts, Visa, MasterCard, American Express credit cards for all purchases
(Discover & Diners Club credit cards may be used for some airline for purchase). All
payments must be in US Dollars. Current billing addresses and phone information
must be included with every order. Sales Tax will be charged on certain products
depending on the shipping address as required by law. Because Airfare.com is a Third
Party Wholesale operator, in some case specific airlines will not accept specific
forms of payment. This is a rare occasion, however Airfare.com will notify you if
something like this occurs and will attempt confirm the reservation for you.
Please be advised that in some cases we may take additional steps to verify your
identity. This may include and are not limited to, a follow-up phone call to the
card holder, a phone call to your bank, a requested fax response, an email response
from the card holder or asking you to respond to Dollar Verification Amount.
As part of the authorization process to verify your identity as the cardholder,
and to help us protect you from credit card/ or identity theft, we will attempt to contact
your credit card company. Since this is sometimes unsuccessful, you can speed up the
process by participating in our quick Dollar verification process. We will run a random
amount on your credit card (under $5.00) which will be a temporary hold not an actual
charge and it will be returned back to your credit card. Once either you or we verify
identity of the card holder, your reservation will be complete. Please call your card
issuer and find out the exact amount of this small pending charge and let us know that
amount by sending an email to CS@Airfare.com.
These steps are designed to ensure that the credit card holder is indeed
giving an authorization for us to charge the card. There is a $40 processing fee
for security check on any credit card not issued in USA.
NOTE: If it is a third party credit card, you may receive a phone call and email from our customer service department asking to verify this transaction before/after the ticket(s) can be issued. A Third party credit card is when the Traveler is not the Card Holder.
Travel Rules and Restrictions
Bookings and Flight reservations are not guaranteed until tickets have been issued.
Airline carriers reserve the right to change their flight schedules dates, times
and fares, without notice. With that being said, Airfare.com
will do what we can to make sure that we get your reservation confirmed, given that
you have provided us with all correct information, but be advised again Airlines
do have control of the ultimate outcome.
If for any reason tickets are less than the original, the airline will not credit
the difference. Airfare.com does not have any control over airline ticketing prices,
fares, taxes or fees. Airline prices are subject to change at any time. Again, fares
cannot be guaranteed until your reservation has been ticketed.
Once your reservation has been purchased, these tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE / NON-RE-ROUTABLE.
Under absolutely no circumstances will the airline refund these highly discounted
airline tickets. The ticket(s) you are purchasing are completely NON-CHANGEABLE
after the first travel date has passed.
Ticket Upgrades /or frequent traveling mileages are purely at the discretion of
the airline. Please check directly with the airline.
There are times when we are unable to confirm a reservation. In the rare
event that this occurs, we will attempt to reach you by phone and email so that
we can re-accommodate you. You must call us back within 48 hours or we may not be
able to honor your original booking price.
Any changes to your reservation will require the payment of up to $350.00 per ticket plus the
difference in fare. Only the time and date of travel can be changed before the start of travel;
the routing of travel cannot.
In order to change the ticket(s) that you have purchased:
- Changes are permitted for a change fee only if they are made 72 hours prior to the date of the originally scheduled flight.
- CHANGE FEE - Pay a fee of minimum of $200.00 per ticket (for Domestic Flights) and minimum of $350.00 per ticket (for International Flights).
- DIFFERENCE IN FARE - Additionally, if the new ticket costs more than the original tickets you must pay the difference.
- If the new tickets are less than the original, the airline will not credit the difference. Also, the change penalties will still apply in advance and are charged by the airline. Airfare.com has no control on the penalty/fees. The fees are set by the airline and Airfare.com has no authority to waive them.
- Therefore, the total cost will be (The Change Fee) + (The Difference in the Cost of the Tickets). These fees must be paid up front before the exchange is done.
- Tickets are completely NON-CHANGEABLE after the first travel date has passed.
- You must travel on the same airline in the same class of service and same routing. Rerouting is not permitted.
- Partially used tickets are completely NON-REFUNDABLE.
- Name changes are not allowed under any circumstances.
- In the case of misspellings, maiden name and married name on the tickets, we will contact the airline to see if they will allow a change under the circumstances. It is up to the airline to allow a name change.
- Please keep in mind that changing the name on a reservation is considered and treated as a regular change and normal change fees will apply and must be in advance. These policies are determined by the airline, not by Airfare.com.
- Changes are not permitted on the day of the scheduled flight or after unless if Airfare.com is able to obtain a waiver from Airline. This case is the exception not the rule.
- Many Airlines wholesale/consolidator exchange departments are closed on weekends and Holidays. Airfare.com will do everything possible to assist the traveler in reference to the change request, but there is no guarantee that the airline’s wholesale/consolidator exchange department will be available before the next business day.
- Some Airline tickets do not allow any changes, even with a fee.
- Some types of changes are not allowed on tickets at all.
Here are some Rules and Restrictions:
- You cannot change the name on an airline ticket or give the ticket to someone else to use.
- You cannot exchange a ticket from one airline to another.
- Some airlines will not allow the ticket to be reused if the original reservation was not canceled prior to the original departure date.
- Airfare.com requires at least 72 hours PRIOR to the original/new departure date to process the changes.
- Some fares have advance purchase restrictions and must be met when processing the change.
- Some airlines require tickets to have specific validation dates. Meaning if you are traveling to another country and want to extend your stay, some airlines will say that the ticket can only be valid for your specific dates of travel (30, 60, and 90 days maximum dates will vary).
To request a change on your Airline tickets, please fill out the online change request form. You will receive a price quote for your requested change online.
The change department working hours is from Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM EST until 6:00 PM EST. Weekend or Holiday requests will be processed the next working day.
Airfare.com understands that unexpected situations may come up to where your travel
plans must be changed. If you need to make a change request please do so before
the first travel date has passed. Due to the higher than normal rules and restrictions
on our tickets, the ticket(s) you are purchasing are completely NON-CHANGEABLE after
the first travel date has passed. These highly discounted fares are non-transferable
The airlines may charge a fee If you change your reservation. These highly discounted
tickets are subject to the airlines bulk penalty fee which will be $200 domestic
tickets and $350 or international tickets. Additionally, if the new tickets cost
more than the original tickets you must pay the difference. If the new tickets are
less than the original, the airline will not credit the difference. Please understand
when making changes to your reservation you must travel on the same airline. If
your ticket is issued with multiple carriers the validating ticketing carrier will
be the authorizing carrier. This is not a decision that is made by Airfare.com however
this is a rule we must follow.
Therefore, the total cost will be (The Change Fee) + (The Difference in the
Cost of the Tickets)
Please note: Some tickets do not allow any changes. If you do not travel on the
first travel date the tickets will be completely cancelled and un-usable.
- Change must be done before first date of travel.
- Change fee is $200 + any difference in fare.
- Reservation is non-re-routable and non-changeable.
- Change must be done before the first date of travel.
- Change fee is $350 + any difference in fare.
- Reservation is non-re-routable and non-transferable.
Airfare.com makes it a point to follow all rules and restrictions from all associated
travel agencies, airlines and governing bodies. With that being said there are different
rules that are associated with every ticket. Within these rules, some tickets can
only be changed before the first travel date. Meaning if you need to make a change
to your return travel and you have already taken the outbound flight, this is not
possible. Some airlines require tickets to have specific validation dates. Meaning
if you are traveling to another country and want to extend your stay, some airlines
say that the ticket can only be valid for your specific dates of travel (30, 60,
and 90 days maximum dates will vary). There are also rare occasions where tickets
are NON-CHANGEABLE. There is nothing we can do about a situation
like this. We will diligently look into every situation and deals with them accordingly,
however please remember that we will do our best but there are rules we have to
You can cancel your reservation up until 11:59 pm Eastern Time (North America) on the same day you booked without penalty. After that the ticket is non-refundable, if Airfare.com is able to obtain a waiver from the Airline to allow a refund, there will be a minimum of $450.00 fee per ticket and will apply upfront.
Airfare.com understands that unexpected situations may come up to where your travel
plans must be changed. If you need to make a change request please do so before
the first travel date has passed. Due to the higher than normal rules and restrictions
on our tickets, the ticket(s) you are purchasing are completely NON-REFUNDABLE.
If you cancel you will not receive any money back.
You may be eligible to apply part of your ticket price towards future travel (for
a limited time, usually a year ticket expiration varies).
Sometimes, the airlines will allow these highly restricted tickets to be refunded.
Please understand that in order for these highly restrictive tickets to be refunded
the airline does charge a service fee of a minimum of $350.00. If during your cancellation
request we discover that a refund will be allowed a processing fee will be incurred.
(Processing fee will be determined by agents and validating airline.)
Please note: Partially un-used tickets are non-transferable, changeable or refundable.
Airfare.com does not have a 24-hour cancellation policy. In other words, if you need to cancel your reservation within 24-hours after you have booked your reservation,
IT WILL NOT BE FREE. Our tickets are highly discounted and highly restrictive and you will have to abide by our cancellation policy which is stated above.
Airfare.com understands that mistakes are made and we will help you in regards to corrections if possible, however we will not cancel a reservation that was booked
in 24- hours for free due to the higher than normal restrictions on these highly discounted tickets.
In case of unrest in any part of the world, if there is a warning issued from the State Department to U.S Citizens that it is unsafe to travel, please be advised that waiver for refund/exchanged will not be guaranteed and the normal fare rules will apply.
Airlines policies clearly state that if you do not arrive on time for the first
flight listed on your reservation you will be listed as a no show. When you are
listed as a no-show this means that the airlines automatically cancel the reminder
of your trip and you will lose all funds associated with such trip. Airfare encourages
all customers to check there flight departure times and check in times with the
airline directly. Airfare.com also advises that all travelers arrive at the airport
3 ½ to 4 hours early for international flights and 2 ½ to 3 hours early for domestic
flights. If at any time you want to travel on only one part of your trip please
check with the airline directly to go about the proper procedures.

arriving late, and no responsibility can be accepted in such cases. Airfare.com
recommends that for domestic travel that you show up one to two hours prior to your

Some airlines charge for advanced seat selection. Please check with the airline directly.

the limit of which may differ by airline, class, route, and/or aircraft type. It
is recommended that cabin baggage be kept to a minimum. Please ask your airline
for more specific information as airfare.com will not be held liable for any extra

to airline websites.
When booking flights with multiple carriers there are cases where the airlines do
not have baggage agreements, and for international trips the airlines require passengers
to check out and re-check in during the middle of their trip. This is not something
that can be controlled by Airfare.com. When the flights are booked online they are

have to check with the airlines for further policies and actions that need to be
Airline Schedule Changes:
Airfare.com does not change reservations without the written consent of the traveler.
Airlines are constantly updating their systems with new flight times and routing.
There are times where notifications are not sent to us. As a result,
we cannot notify the passenger of an airline schedule change.
If you are not contacted about any airline schedule change, it is solely the passenger’s
responsibility to check flight times and reconfirm reservations, within 72 hours of departure,
for all flights within an itinerary.
Failure to reconfirm onward travel may result in complete cancellation of all following reservations.
When we do receive notification, we make every attempt to advise the passenger about the schedule change
– by phone and email. Airfare.com will do everything possible to help the traveler find acceptable arrangements,
with the ultimate responsibility placed on the airline to give the approval on accommodating the passenger’s schedule
change. Airfare.com strongly recommends travelers to constantly check their reservation with us and the airline.
Please be advise that you have 7 days maximum to agree to the new schedule in order to avoid normal change penalty
plus the difference in fare as per the new policy of the Airline. If you failed to agree to the new schedule after 7 days,
we will handle your change as normal change process and it will cost you a change fee of $350.00 for international flights,
$200.00 for domestic flights plus any fare difference at the time of revalidations.
